Vendors' Information

A Note to Our Valued Contractors or Agents...

The Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 requires Princeton HealthCare System, as a healthcare provider, to maintain policies and procedures that contain detailed information about Federal and State laws that address fraud, waste and abuse in Federal healthcare programs. The law also requires that these policies be available and applicable to PHCS contractors and agents. To that end, Princeton HealthCare System has established a link on our website specifically for vendors and other contracted agents to access this important information and make it available to their employees.

As a PHCS contractor or agent, you are required to review, become familiar with and abide by our False Claims Act (FCA) policy.

Click here to download a copy of the policy.

Under the FCA, it is a violation to knowingly submit a false claim to the government. All employees, contractors or agents of PHCS with knowledge of potential fraud and abuse situations must report such situations through either of the following methods:

  • Contacting the PHCS Compliance Officer/Corporate Compliance Office directly at 609.430.7789 or
  • Calling the confidential PHCS Compliance Hotline at 1.800.779.4035.

Retaliation or retribution for reporting issues "in good faith" is prohibited at PHCS.

It also is important to be familiar with PHCS' Corporate Compliance Program and to uphold and comply with the standards outlined in our Code of Ethical Conduct, which is available via this link.

Should you desire additional information about the PHCS Corporate Compliance Program, please contact Lisa R. Hartman, PHCS Corporate Compliance Officer, at 609.430.7789 or via e-mail at lhartman@princetonhcs.org.
